Payments and Reservations:

Reservations will only be confirmed once a deposit has been paid to Extreme African Tours. The balance owing must be paid not less than four weeks prior to departure date. Any change to a reservation less than four weeks prior to the date of departure may be subject to a late booking fee. Any reservations, which are not confirmed timeously with a deposit, will be cancelled.

Cancellations and Amendments:

An amendment fee of not 1ess than R60 per person will be levied for any changes to the confirmed tour itinerary. In the event of guests canceling their reservation, then Extreme African Tours reserves the right to claim either the total amount of a deposit paid by the guest or to claim cancellation fees as follows:
4 weeks prior to departure 25% of the tour price.
3 weeks prior to departure
50% of the tour price.
2 weeks or less 100% of the tour price.

Passports, visa vaccination and inoculations:

It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure that they have the current and valid passports and visas, vaccinations and inoculations. Extreme African Tours shall not be held responsible for any consequence of any nature resulting from the guest failing to comply with these requirements.

Responsibility:

All tours are booked and all tour arrangements are made on the conditions that Extreme African Tours, their employees and agents shall not be held responsible for, and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person or his or her luggage, or other property, wherever, whenever and how so ever it may occur. The company, their employees and agents shall further not be 1iab1e for any consequential loss or damage whatsoever.

Insurance:

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers. Guests are responsible for their own traveling insurance and Extreme African Tours will not be liable if anyone should not have adequate insurance cover (unless otherwise specified). All activities undertaken by guests are of their own choice and at their own risk whether or not these are part of the tour package. The company shall not be responsible for any accidents, which may occur.

Medical

Certain activities and the rides planned are not recommended for women that are pregnant or any person suffering from (but are not limited to) back problems, heart conditions, high blood pressure or epilepsy. Any conditions of such nature should be brought to the attention of Extreme African Tours upon confirmation of booking.

Itinerary Variations:

While every effort is made to keep all advertised itineraries, we reserve the right to make changes for the guest’s convenience. In some cases the weather can result in an alteration to the tour itinerary and this does not constitute any reason for a refund whatsoever. No refund for any unused services or activities will be considered. In the event that the stipulated accommodation, activity, service etc. is unavailable for any reason whatsoever, then similar or better accommodation etc. will be provided at the quoted price to the guest.
